Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Recently Purchased Condo

I closed on a condominium last week. All appliances and a/c were in good working order when I looked at the condo and at inspection. However, it seems nothing is in good working order at this time. There is electricity, but the appliances and a/c units do not seem to be working. What is my legal recourse?

Re: Recently Purchased Condo

1. If you had an inspection done, submit a claim to them;

2. If not, check your purchase documents very closely to see what representations were made, if any, about the appliances. If the agreement is silent, then;

3. Consider whether or not you were deliberately defrauded by the seller, AND if you can prove it.

4. Consider whether or not you got a good enough deal that you can skip fighting the thing all together and have the applicances repaired with the money you would otherwise spend pursuing the seller legally.
