Release from Mortgage

I sold a property with the buyers taking the property but I remained on the mortgage..how can I get off the mortgage now?

It is most unwise to buy/sell land without an attorney or real estate broker's attorney assisting you. Talk to your mortgage company or get an attorney to review everything you've done so far so they can help you fix the problems that will inevitably arise.
