Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

right to rent if convicted of a class b misdemeaner

Can I be denied as a resident in an apartment if I have a conviction for a class b misdemeaner? The application states, have you been convicted of a felony, not misdemeaner.

Criminal convictions may keep you from renting apartments. They generally look for assault type cases, drug and sex cases in addition to felony offenses.
