Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

On the Residential Contract (Resale) to purchase a house in Texas, the Seller wants to have Paragraph 7 under (D) marked that the buyer accepts the property in its current condition. There is an option period of 10 to have inspections and see if there are repairs to be done. Is the seller trying to put one over on me?

The TREC promulgated contract should have an option period during which you can terminate for any reason before expiration of the option.
