Responsilbilites of an LLC for the term of a lease agreement

Is it common practice, in the state of Texas, to have a clause within a commercial retail lease that even if the company, in this case an LLC disolves or closes for business the owners are personally responsible for the full term of the commercial lease?

That is a common practice in commercial real estate generally whenever the lessee is not a blue chip megacorporation. Whether it can be negotiated-out at all depends on lots of factors, but yes, in urban settings nationwide, this is a common clause.
