Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
If a reversion date of rights to property is left blank, what does that mean for the grantor or original owner? Texas law states "Forfeiture clauses fail in the event they are ambiguously expressed. If a provision is ambiguous, that alone may condemn it as a forfeiture provision." Does these mean that the property goes back to the grantor or stays with the grantee?
