sale of home
When the title owners of a homestead are ready to sale the home, and there is a lien in on the property and the lien holder (individual) prevents the sale of the home, are there any remedies for the title owners, as they will suffer damages

Re: sale of home
If the lien is wrongful, then the land owners may sue to have the lien removed under a suit to quiet title. If the lien is completely wrong, then they may sue for slander of title.

Judgement Liens do not attach to the homestead. The title company should not require payment if that is the case.
