Find a new place as soon as possible. Landlord should lose an immediate eviction because he is in violation of Section 8 requirements. If he tries to evict, go to court and present your case. The judge should give you a reasonable time to move. It is possible that you can find a place and move before you even have to go to court and I would recommend doing so. Be sure and show up to any court date because you automatically lose if you're a no-show and the judge may award landlord damages against you. Best of luck.
