Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Sellers name is different on the endorsement

I am having a home built by a local builder. The original contract has the Seller's name as ''Builder TX V LP, a Texas Limited Partnership''.

They offered me a different unit and I signed an endorsement to the contract to change units, but the seller's name is now showing as ''Builder Dallas TX, LLC''.

These selling entities come from the same Builder, but does that void out the endorsement, since the selling entity is different?

Re: Sellers name is different on the endorsement

Probably not, but it would be prudent to find out the name of the exact owner and have either the contract or amendment changed and initialled to show the correct Seller's name.
