Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Where do I send a TX Quitclaim deed?
I want to deed my TX property back from my LLC to my personal possession for refinancing purposes. I have a TX Quitclaim form, but cannot remember where I should send it?
Can anyone advise? Is it a county recorder's office?
Thanks
Glyn

Re: Where do I send a TX Quitclaim deed?
I'm not a TX lawyer. Usually, a person will record a deed to properly identify the owners in the chain of title. The county recorder sounds like the appropriate place. Make sure to send in the fee for recording. You might check with a TX lawyer to find out if there are other documents that have to be submitted. In CA, we have to do a preliminary change of ownership form, as well.
