Shared Property
My Mother whom is 62 had a companion (male 82)whom she & he shared residence. They have property and two vehicles with both of their names on the titles.
Both of them in bad health, the companion fell, broke both hips & his children is putting him in a nurseing home.They are telling my Mother she has to sell the property & sign over title's on vehicles.
Where does this leave my Mother? His son got a power of attorny. What are my Mothers rights?
I am afraid with them hassleing her, she may have a heart attack from the stress of it all!!!! Please, please help...

From what you say, your mother and her friend are co-owners of property and both have rights in that property. His relatives could make things uncomfortable and problematic for your mother. she should get herself an attorney who can explain everything to her.
