Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
one of sibling refuse to sell at the of contract.
we have abandon house in Harris county for sell. We had a sellar to buy the house and everyone agree to sell. At the end of the closing one of sibling refuse to sell. She said she wanted to buy it. We gave her first chose but, she refused because, she want us to give it to her. The family said no way. She had to pay for it. So she brought two of the heirs out. But not no one else. She did it to stop the sell.

Re: one of sibling refuse to sell at the of contract.
Your remedy is a partition lawsuit against the uncooperative party. The court would appoint a receiver, order a sale and distribute the proceeds. It would be much cheaper to get her to come to an agreement. If your interest isn't worth at least several thousand dollars (what you would have to pay in legal fees), you may want to just deed it over to her and move on.
