Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I signed a contract to purchase a house from Capital One Bank. The bank agreed to sell it to me for a certain price (verified in emails and verbally). The bank then stalled signing the contract back (so it was never ratified by the bank). Then the property was transferred to a different asset management company and the agreement I had with Capital One bank was thrown out. I incurred the expense of getting inspectors and countless hours invested in this property. Do I have any legal options?

Possibly. If your claim is under 10K you can sue Capital One in small claims court if your emails support your claim. Verbal agreements are not enforceable in real estate transactions.
