Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My ex signed the deed to our house to me. We are co-signers on the mortgage. He has a new girlfriend and wants me to sell the house. Can he legally do that. He also wants me to take his name off the note.

Look to the terms of your divorce. Some require that the person get refinancing without the former spouses' name or sell the property.
