Signed a Lease Agreement - Two Later Didn't Want Apartment
I signed a lease agreement to rental an apartment. Two Days later I decided I didn't want to move to that apartment complex. Now, the leasing agent is trying to hold me responsible for the lease and charge me a relitting fee.
After reviewing the lease agreement, on the 3 paragraph it clearly states; "The initial terms of the lease begins on July 31, 2000" note: I signed the lease on the 12th of July and notified them of my intent to cancel on the 14th of July.
Do that have a legal claim? and Is there a 3-Day Right of Refusal on signing any contracts?

The 72 hour right of recission does not apply to leases. It concerns consumer installment sales contracts.
The landlord will incur re-letting expenses as a result of your mind change, and he is legally entitled to recover those from you because of your unilateral termination of the lease.
Whether or not there are any other fees due him will depend upon the language of the lease on this point.
