Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I signed a lease on a home, then purchased a home and moved without notifying the landlord. He has filed suit against me. I have not yet paid, I received a letter in the mail stating that he is going to try and put a lein against my bank accounts and have the constable come to my home and have my property removed and sold at auction. Is he really able to do that. While I was there, I paid my rent on time and in full until I left.

not without a judgment from a Court..and then he can't file a lien against your home, he can garnish bank accou8nts..and have nonexempt property taken..so if u are sued, hire a lawyer
