Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Hello, I'm a single mother of a one year old and I bought a car with a cashiers check that was purchased from my boyfriends bank when he was in the Marines. I put the car in my Grandpa's name for lower insurance cost and now he says that he is going to take the car from me because it is in his name. I am 20 yrs old, what do I do?

Buy a steering-wheel-lock device - it will cost you around $40 - and lock the steering wheel whenever you park the car and walk away from it.

Sue your grandfather and allege what you just told me, and ask the Court to order him to sign over the car title to you, since the car actually is yours, regardless of what the title says. This lawsuit should probably be filed in the county court at law, and the filing fee will be around $250.
