Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I sold a 20-acre tract contiguous with my 30-acre home and farm. I placed a deed restriction on the tract restricting use to a single-family home on a permanent slab, no more than 1 animal per acre in order to protect my property value. Now I have been threatened with litigation by a property manager who wants me to loosen or eliminate the restrictions so he can sell to a fellow who wants to build an RV park. Are my restrictions enforceable in Texas?

Quite possibly. You should hire an attorney to review the restriction to make sure. No one could answer the question without reviewing them. The attorney would be needed for the potential litigation anyway.
