Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I sold my home to a local bank a year ago. They told me I could stay until my horses were placed if I would pay a little rent. I sent my wife in July of 2009 to pay rent for 6 months. I was at home taking care of my hands that had been operated on the day before. They told her they had the place sold or someone wanting it. They told her we needed to be out by August 1st of 2009. She found a place to live in town. She is a principal at school. She would not have time during school year to move. I told her I was not moving until I had the horses and dogs placed. She has been living in town sisce August and I have been here. This is not real good on a marriage. They are starting to put pressure on me again. I have 6 horses that will go out this week. I will have three left. I still have 6 dogs that need homes. They want me to shot these dogs are they will shot them for me. I have done business at this bank for 40 years. I have been a good customer. What do I need to do to stay here until I get the horsres and dogs gone. I will pay rent that is not a problem. I would think they would be wanting some income from the property. I will not move until they kick me out the lagal way. What is the law ?

They have to kick you out the legal way. First you will get a 3-day notice to move. Then, if you're not gone, they will file an eviction suit against you (usually a couple of weeks or more later). You will lose and the judge will order you out on a specific date (usually a few more days). If you're not out by then, the sheriff or constable will have you physically removed and all of your belongings will be placed at the street.
