Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I sold a property with a small house on it 11 months ago. The person is now in jail and will be there for some time, due to 3 strikes you are out! He has failed to pay the balance on this property and now the taxes are delinquent. The house is still under my name and if this is not paid, it will reflect on my credit score. I've sent 5 letters and have had no response. The balance was to be paid before Dec of 2011. I made 2 trips looking for this man before finding out he is in jail.
Now, I'm out gas money after traveling a total of a little over 2000 miles, lodging, food, and now taxes. Can I repo the house?

How did you sell the house? And if you sold it, how is it still "in your name"? Did you use a lawyer or title company to do the paperwork? If not, you may be in for more headache. I can't advise you until I read what everyone signed.
