Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Our son filed bankruptcy 8years ago and because of this he could not get financing for a home. We decided to buy a home in Texas and let him and his family live there as long as they made the house payments. The house was purchased in 2006 and he has never missed a payment. He and his wife have worked in a variety of jobs including chid and adult care, house cleaning, and currently driving a school bus.
With my wife and I are both in our eighties and we would like to have our son take over the title to the home and we're not sure how to do this and what the mortgage holder may say.

I'm not sure what "take over the title" means.
Have your son apply for a mortgage to buy the house. If the bankruptcy was eight years ago, and he has a good "record" since then, he may be able to finance it in his own name.
