Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
My son lived with a friend and his family for about 3 weeks, before going back to Fort Campbell Kentucky, he left his Army diploma and his Army graduation picture at that house, before he left he call his friend, we were with him when he called, his friend said he would bring the Army diploma and the Graduation picture to our house, that was back in February. we waited, in April 24th we e-mail his friend, he reply saying he would bring the items back the next day, he never did. So when my son called us, we told him, that his friend did not bring his Army diploma and Graduation picture back, my son called his friend Mother, she told my son, she would bring the items back herself, we waited again, then I e-mail her asked her about the items, she said they had one car, and that was why she had not bring the items back, but she would bring the items back Saturday May 19th, we told her to call for directions, or we could pick up the items at her home, or meet her some where. well she did not bring the items, and she has not reply back to our e-mail. we don't want problems with this family. but my son loves the Army, that is why the Army diploma and graduation picture are very important to all of us, also he has an 18 month baby, we want his baby to be proud of his dad. Please advice us. Thank you so much

Stop using the telephone. It doesn't work.
Send these folks a letter (paper letter) in a large envelope, with a smaller envelope inside it. The smaller envelope will be addressed to you, and will have postage on it.
The letter will ask her to put the documents into the smaller envelope and mail them back to you.
If you don't get the documents in about ten days, sue these jerks for conversion.
