I need to stop a sheriff sale of my property? Iam delinquent on my property taxes and the sheriff sale is schedule for APRIL 6, 2010. Can you directed me to attorney in Texas to assist with this matter.

You may be a little late on this. The taxing authority is less likely to deal with you this close to the end. I would recommend your contacting your county's local bar association and see if you can get someone to assist you there. You may also consider preparing for a redemption purchase, if you cannot afford to pay all due amounts now. Good luck.

First call the trustee to see if he/she will remove the property from the sale. Your only other option is to hire an attorney and obtain a restraining order, but you will need a good reason for the judge to grant it.
