Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I am considering a Subject To on my property. I am not behind on payments. I am in a situation though that I cannot keep up with the maintenance of the home and I can't sell it due to the negative equity. How can I know if my contract is good and that I am protect? I don't know any attorneys to ask.

It will not cost a lot to have a local attorney look over the proposed documents for you. Contact your local bar association which can usually give you a referral to a local attorney. This is generally something that an attorney can handle quickly which will limit your fees. These are very serious and complicated types of contracts and documents and should not be entered into without legal advice.
