Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Substandard structures stopping ability to rent or sell my house between them.

Substandard structures north and south of my property. Can't rent or sell this house.

The southern most building is permitted for demolition and was to have been completed months ago. I have offered 2,000 for it since it's condemn value is now $0. Can I sue if this isn't accepted as my property value has plumetted and my in-

come directly effected.

If you can prove that a neighbor maintained a nuisance which caused you a proveable loss, the law permits you to sue for damages.

You usually cannot sue government no matter how they behave, so long as they are doing what governments do.

Consult a real estate lawyer for further details.
