Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Survival Rights

Survival rights: I have lived with spouse over ten years in his home and acreage which does not have my name on deed even though I have helped pay the taxes, insurance and all other living expenses since marrying him. He has no children. What are my rights should he predecease me? I know of no will of his.

Re: Survival Rights

If he has no children outside the marriage and no will, you should interit all under the laws of intestate succession as the surviving spouse.
