Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

On the Texas Residential Lease agreement which I signed, my Landlord is authorized during the last 60 days of the lease to put on a lockbox. He put the house up for sale with a lockbox on the front door 2 months before contract specified. I want to end my lease, but he says I can't, he is holding me to it even though he got a good contract. Do I have a loophole? Didn't he basically break our lease by going against our agreement?

His breaking the lease doesn't entitle you to do so. If you suffer monetary damages as a result of his actions, you can sue him in small claims court.
