Timeshare

We have a timeshare at South Padre Island and pay $750 per week for a maintenance fee. We recently received a letter saying they want $65 a month from now through 2010 as a special assessment fee. Is this legal?

It is legal if the right to do so is in the documents that affect the property or that you signed.
