Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Trailer on land

If I have a trailer that I own and it is

on land owned by a friend, is it legal

for my friend to give me only 45

days to remove the trailer from his

land. And there was written

agreement that I was allowed to

place my trailer on his land. Now

that I have cut working ties with this

friend he no longer wants me to

have my trailer o his land. What are

the laws on this in Texas?

Re: Trailer on land

Actually, he only needs to give you 30 days written notice, unless your written agreement specified a time period which allows longer. If you fail to vacate, then he can file a forceable entry and detainer suit in small claims court. That process will take another 2-3 weeks. Then, if you fail to vacate, your friend can request the sheriff to forceably remove you and your property.
