transfer of land title
How do we change the ownership of a peice of property that the owner was killed in Iraq and did not have a will. Trying to change to his daughters name. The land is paid off and has free title.

Go to a title company and advise them of the situation and provide them with a copy of the legal description of the property. They will examine the title and make the requirements that would provide insurable or good title for the transfer. They can handle the document preparation.
