Re: transfer of propert rights

Your question requires more information to anwer. In what form did you acquire your interest? Is the restaurant a corporation and you own stock? Is it a partnership? Do the other owners have a right to sell without your permission or a prior right to purchase?

If there are no restrictions on your ownership you may convey to anyone you wish at any time. Of course taking the road you suggest will undoubtedly lead to disharmony within the family, but you didn't ask about that.

Provide further information fora more elaborate answer.
