Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
What type of Deed?
I just purchased a house in Texas in my name, single individual. There is a real estate lien. I want to transfer title to my individual Living Trust, myself as trustee. What type of Deed, Warranty or Limited Warranty Deed should I prepare. I am I allowed to prepare and file a Deed without an attorney or title company involved.

You will want to convey by Warranty Deed to have your title insurance to remain in effect. You can prepare it yourself, however, if a non-lawyer prepares it for you, then that is the Unauthorized Practice of Law which is a misdemeanor.
