Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Can you type out your will and have it noterized making it a legal will or does it have to be done by a lawyer?

You don't have to have a lawyer to do a will. But if you do it yourself, you should be very, very careful; the probate courts are picky about what they will accept when a will is offered to probate.
A will in Texas has to be holographic or, if it's typed, you shouldn't have erasures, type-overs, interlineated changes, etc. It has to have two competent witnesses, and it has to be notarized.
