Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

undivided property share

I have owned a share on a small lake in E.TX for 30 yrs. It is 4 undivided acres, some in the lake, some in the hunting area some around the house. There is an agreement as to the boundaries around each share when one purchases. I live and work in Brazil and come in once a year. New neighbors have moved in the neighboring share. They have now removed my fence and have cleared and burned up to my house. They intend to claim this since I do no live there full time and their mentality is ''you mow it its yours''. What are my rights or recourse to resolve this bullying situation? Do they have the right to remove my fence and claim this after my ownership of 30 yrs?

Re: undivided property share

They may be claiming that they own the property under a theory of adverse possession. What you need to do is enforce your property rights. Have you paid taxes on the property? Have you made any improvements to the property? Have you leased it during the 30 years?
