Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I want to do this through you, but am unsure. My uncle owns a property in Tx with his son, my uncle wants to sign the property over to me with his son's permission. I am in FL, can I do a quit claim deed or should I do a Warranty Deed?

Do not do a warranty deed. Don't do it yourself. With valuable property, you should have a professional help you. An attorney or title company should be able to do this for you (and ensure that it is done properly) for a few hundred dollars.

Never use a quit claim deed in Texas. They aren't recognized as being able to convey insurable title. You should also contact a CPA to go over tax consequences and other issues regarding such a conveyance. If your uncle is receiving government benefits, he may lose them if he transfers property.
