Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Vacate Notice

I have received a Vacate Notice with

flagrant accusations of non-payment,

a threat to sue and a demand to

vacate in 3 days, I have never been

late on my rent and I show the

management company deposited my

check 10 days prior. What action

should I take and what are my

rights?

Re: Vacate Notice

Don't move, and when they evict you, go to court and present your side to the judge. The hearing should be within 2-3 weeks after you receive the 3-day notice and you should be served with papers. You will have an opportunity to be heard and answer their accusations.
