Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Warranty Deed Form

I--name removed-- am divorced, from Gary, and am going to sell the house I was granted in the divorce. Wondering if I have correctly filled out this portion of the form(below):

To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging, unto the said--name removed--, her heirs or assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said--name removed--, her heirs, and assigns, against every person whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same, or any part thereof.

Re: Warranty Deed Form

What you have is the habendum clause, however, that is only one part of the deed. I would contact a title company and have them help you with the conveyance. They can furnish a correct deed form.
