Re: illegal use of personal pictures

I am under the impression that the photo was taken without your consent. If so, you can contact the company or have an attorney contact the company for you and instruct them that the photo was not consentual and to immedidiately remove the photo and send you an email informing that they have deleted the photo. Moreover, they should be instructed to either provide you with information of who sent it, when they got it, and if they made copies and sent them to other websites or individuals on a CD.

You can also discuss with a local attorney any remedies you could have for his distribution of the photo. Discuss with an attorney whether you should persue this under any of the following: intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, misappropriation of identity, or invasion of privacy.

Optimally you want the original back and any and all copies deleted. You may try to get him to tell you where he published other copies.
