Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Texas

Sexual Harrasment

What can I do in a situation like this? I work with this co worker and two days prior that I lost my car keys at work so I have just been looking for them so two days later I still decided to look for them and I bend over the counter where the register is at and he told me that's the way I like to get my wife and I said Excuse me and he said thats the way I like it and he stood right behind me my butt and the customers laughed. Then the next day he slapped his hand and told me stop touching my ass and that was also in front of the customers. I felt so embrassed and now that I reported this to the main 1-800 # I am afraid to go to work because he will be there. What should I do?

You must file an EEOC complaint as a prerequisite to a sexual harassment claim. Call our office and we will give you the specific procedures you must follow.

From the facts you have stated, this appears to be sexual harrasment. I would suggest that you contact a law office to discuss your options. Under TX law, you have certian procedures to follow.
