Legal Question in Tax Law in Texas

Disability insurance payments.Taxable or not.

I am currently drawing disability payments from a group policy on which I paid the premiums.The company I was employed by says the payments are tax free.My tax preparer says they are taxable.Who is correct?Thanks

If you didn't deduct the premium when you paid it in the past, you shouldn't have to pick it up as income now, I believe. Call the IRS and get their opinion, too!
