Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Arrested for Suspended license
I was arrested for driving on a suspended license. Previously I had pleaded guilty to no insurance charge. Since then I have purchased insurance for my vehicle. I thought everything was taken care of, but i guess there was a sur-charge i didnt pay for there-fore my license was suspended. I am in concerned because I am in outside sales and need to drive for a living. Will i be able to reinstate my license?

Re: Arrested for Suspended license
Yes, you can get it reinstated. At worst, you can get an Occupational License.
Attend the first hearing -- see if the ADA will offer you a plea deal that includes reinstatement (provided you have paid the surcharge etc) and minimal charges on a deferred adjudication. If not, ask for a 30 day continuance, and hire a lawyer.
