Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Back in 2008 i was arrested for traffic warrants from 3 different cities. I spent a 3 days in jail and when all was said and done i had seen 3 judges each from one of the cities. I was given half time served and ordered to pay the remaining balances. Sad to say but i didnt. Would this just be considered a failure to pay or would it go back to failure to appear? I was pulled over recently where i live now and told the officer i thought i had warrants but he said nothing came back. When i call the courts they say theres nothing i can do over the phone (it has to be in person) but i live 200 miles away from the courts. They wont tell me if i have warrants either. I know i have fines on OMNi from 2 of the cities. I wanna take care of this but i cant go back to fort worth to do so. I dont know what to do. Would these be warrants again? I dont care about getting dl back for now just dont wanna have warrants. Thnx for reading :-)

Suggest you hire an attorney in the town that is too far away to look into this for you. If these are for municipal charges, usually your attorney can appear in court for you.
Don't know what OMNi is.
