Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Bad Traffic Ticket..Need Advice Fast
January 26th I received a speeding ticket. February 26th I went to court for the ticket, the fine is a total of $200. I a supposed to go back to court on April 26th to pay the fine but I do not have the money to and the court won't allow me to extend the paying period. If I let this ticket turn into a warrant and I go and turn myself in, what is the estimated time I would spend in jail?

It will depend on the court you are dealing with but you should ask the court for some sort of community service in lieu of paying the fine due to indigency. Your other alternative would be to serve it out in jail.
