Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
No Contact accident, who is liable?
My friend was involved in an accident. A car pulled out in front of him and he swerved to avoid hitting the car and in doing so, ended up flipping his own car. Is he responsible for the damages to his car?

Re: No Contact accident, who is liable?
From your description it sounds like the other driver was in the wrong, and therefore his or her insurance company would be responsbile for compensating your friend for any damage done.
