Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
i am going to court in a couple of weeks for a speeding ticket. I was wondering what is the best thing to plea in court if i dont want my ticket to go on my drivers record. Also, i am not allowed to take the drivers course because i have recieved a ticket about 6 months ago and have taken the course so i am not eligible. is it best if i do the deferred disposition?

The best thing to do is demand a jury trial. If this "going to court" is a pre-trial hearing, tell the Judge you want a jury to adjudicate guilt or innocence AND assess punishment.
The cop might not show up at the trial; if he doesn't, ask for a dismissal.
Of course, you plead "not guilty."
