Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Court Date reschedule
Is it true that a court date cannot be rescheduled at the municipal court level? I tried to get the time of my court date changed but I was told that there was no way unless i paid the fine or hired a lawyer.

Re: Court Date reschedule
Municipal courts often set a policy such as this. If you appear on your court date, and are not ready to proceed, the court will probably continue the case, without a lawyer.
