Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Defensive Driving or Deffered Judification
I was caught going 16 mph over the speed limit on the freeway. Officer told me that I could take either defensive driving or deferred judification. Which one should I do? I need help!

Re: Defensive Driving or Deffered Judification
Deferred adjudication will drop the ticket from your record once you complete it. Defensive driving usually (not all courts do it the same) just satisfies the court and looks good for insurance purposes but it will stay on your record. If you have a lot of tickets, definitely go with the deferred adjudication.
Hope this helps.
