Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Why is it ,That after the deferred judification period is over, you are asked to get a form notorized, swearing you have not got another ticket, when they already know the information. Is it just to humilitate you further, because they can?

I have never heard of this before. The court should have access to the records.

Some courts want you to do this because they know that they probably will not be able to verify themselves if you get a ticket since reporting for Class Cs is so spotty throughout Texas. If you sign the document and your statement is untrue, then you may be subject to prosecution for perjury (although it's very, very unlikely), so they may figure that people will confess and take the final conviction.
