driving while license invalid in texas

i have a multi part question: first, may i get deferred adjudication for driving while license invalid? i forgot to pay the ''drivers responsibility program'' surcharge by just 3 days and got popped today. second, i've read that i will not accumulate more points for this offense. true? third, this was my last year of the three years since my last tickets on the ''drivers responsibly program,'' will i have to face more of these lovely surcharges for another 3 years? thanks again, and i'll be looking for an attorney in the dallas area so if you are one, please leave some contact information.

You should receive additional time only if the case results in a conviction. Hopefully, the circumstances and your history are such, that deferred is still an option.
