Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Failure To Appear Charge
I was unable to renew my drivers license because of an FTA. in dallas but no warrant has been issued. I have paid every citation that has ever been issued and others were dismissed upon verification of insurance. What's the likelyhood of this charge being a system or human error and what should I do to resolve the matter?

Re: Failure To Appear Charge
Start by calling the court clerk to determine the date and nature of the FTA, also ask what happened to the underlying charge. Probably you (or your lawyer) can post a cash bond to get the matter resolved. Until you get more information, it will be difficult to advise you. You can hire a lawyer to locate the information and get the FTA resolved.
